The short version

VividStatus processes your photos and videos entirely on your device. Your media is never uploaded to us — we never see it, store it, or transmit it.

What the app processes

Photos and videos you select (or record with the camera) are read from your photo library with your permission and processed on-device to fit WhatsApp Status’s 9:16 frame and 30-second parts. The exported parts are saved back to your library. None of this media leaves your device through us.

The app has no user accounts and does not collect your name, email address, or contacts.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are billed by Apple through your App Store account. To manage entitlements we use RevenueCat, which processes a pseudonymous app-install identifier and your purchase receipts. We never receive your payment details.

Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymized App Store statistics (downloads, sales) that cannot be traced to you.

This website

vividstatus.com sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Our servers and Cloudflare (our network provider) keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser type) for security and reliability. If we ever add analytics, it will load only after you consent.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. Since we hold almost none, the practical scope is purchase records (managed by Apple and RevenueCat) and any email you send us. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
