VividStatus FAQ: what to know before you install

VividStatus is an iPhone app that prepares photos and videos for WhatsApp Status: it frames them for a 9:16 screen, trims and splits long videos into numbered parts, and adds text, music or QR codes. It works on the iPhone itself, needs no account, and you post every part yourself in WhatsApp.
Using the app
What is the difference between Quick Post and a Status Pack?
Quick Post is for one photo or video: frame it, trim it or split it, and post. A Status Pack in Studio is a whole series of photos and videos with text, logos, QR codes and continuous music, prepared as ordered parts.
Which iPhones does VividStatus run on?
Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later, according to the App Store listing. VividStatus is an iPhone app; there is no Android version.
How long can each part be?
Up to 90 seconds. In Quick Post you choose Auto, 30 s, 60 s, 90 s or a custom length; the app shares the video evenly across the parts it needs.
Which video files does VividStatus create?
H.264 video in an MP4 file, in the 9:16 portrait shape. Quick Post videos are 1080 × 1920 pixels and photos 1152 × 2048 pixels; in Studio you choose 1080p, 720p or 480p.
Posting to WhatsApp
Does VividStatus post to WhatsApp for me?
No. VividStatus opens a prepared part in WhatsApp’s status screen, and you check it and share it there. It never posts on your behalf and never signs in to WhatsApp.
Is VividStatus made by WhatsApp?
No. VividStatus is an independent app made by NETKREATIVES BV in Belgium. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
Can it save or download other people’s statuses?
No. VividStatus only works with photos and videos you pick yourself. It cannot see anyone else’s status.
Can it fix a status that already looks blurry?
No app can recover detail that WhatsApp has already removed. VividStatus prepares a clean file before you post; our guide on blurry statuses explains which steps are yours and which are WhatsApp’s.
Privacy and your files
Are my photos and videos uploaded anywhere?
Not to VividStatus. Trimming, framing, splitting and rendering happen on your iPhone. When you share a part in WhatsApp, WhatsApp uploads it the way it uploads any status.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no phone number to enter.
Does the app add a watermark or show ads?
No. Your posts carry no VividStatus watermark, and the app shows no ads.
How long does the app keep prepared files?
Prepared files stay on your iPhone for the period you set under Keep recent exports in Settings, for example 7 days. Automatic cleanup never removes copies you saved to Photos.
