VividStatus prepares your selected media locally on your iPhone without using a media server. No account or phone number is required. After processing, review your media and initiate a manual WhatsApp handoff.
VividStatus is an iPhone app that prepares photos and videos for WhatsApp Status: it frames selected media on a 9:16 working canvas, can divide a long video into evenly sized parts under its current 90-second maximum, and lets you open each prepared item in WhatsApp for review — entirely on device, with no watermark, no ads and no account.
Safety and Privacy
Is VividStatus safe to use?
It processes your media locally and hands a prepared item to WhatsApp only when you choose that action. It never signs in to WhatsApp, reads your chats, or routes media through a VividStatus phone number, bot or media server. You still review and confirm the post inside WhatsApp.
Do my photos and videos get uploaded anywhere?
Not to a VividStatus media server. Importing, trimming, framing, splitting and encoding run on your phone. You then choose whether to save a copy to Photos or open one prepared item in WhatsApp; if you confirm a post there, WhatsApp handles its own upload. VividStatus records a small set of product events and does not include media, filenames or contacts in them.
Do I need an account, a sign-up or my phone number?
None of the three. There is no registration screen, no email field and no activation code. Open the app, pick a photo or video, export.
How does the WhatsApp handoff work?
After reviewing your prepared media on your iPhone, you initiate a manual handoff. WhatsApp then controls the composer, upload, processing, and final result.
Is there a watermark?
No, VividStatus adds no watermark. You simply review your prepared media and initiate a manual WhatsApp handoff.
Are there ads?
No. No banners, no interstitials between exports, no ads anywhere in the app.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Trimming, framing, splitting, and encoding happen entirely on-device and need no network. A network connection is only required for the final step, when WhatsApp handles the upload.
What it does, and what it does not
Is there an Android version?
No. VividStatus is iPhone-only, and there is no Android version in progress. If you are on Android this app cannot help you, and we would rather say so here than after you have gone looking for it in the Play Store.
Which iPhones does it run on, and does it work on iPad?
Any iPhone running iOS 17 or later. There is no iPad version — the app is built and tested for the phone, and the layout assumes a phone-sized portrait screen.
Will it make my Status HD, or fix a blurry upload?
We do not guarantee either. VividStatus controls the local file it prepares: a 9:16 working canvas at 1080 × 1920 for video and 1152 × 2048 for photos, with the crop you selected. WhatsApp controls processing and delivery after the handoff, so check a disposable live post on a receiving device when quality matters.
Can I post a video that is longer than my Status limit?
Yes, by preparing a sequence of parts. VividStatus currently uses a 90-second maximum; the chosen length is a maximum, and the app divides the selected source window evenly across the required number of parts. VividStatus does not detect the limit on your WhatsApp account or device. Open each numbered checklist row in WhatsApp separately, review the composer, and confirm each post yourself.
Do the split parts post in the right order?
The VividStatus result checklist labels rows in source order. Open and confirm each row separately, starting with Part 1, then inspect the live Status sequence because WhatsApp controls how entries are displayed.
Does it post to WhatsApp for me automatically?
No. VividStatus prepares a separate file on your iPhone; it never publishes a Status on your behalf. When the export is ready, you choose whether to save the file or start a manual handoff to WhatsApp. You review and confirm any Status post in WhatsApp, whose interface and later processing VividStatus does not control.
Can it save or download other people’s Status videos?
No. It is not a status saver and does not read anyone else’s Status. It only works on media you pick from your own library, your camera, or the Files app.
