VividStatus can divide a selected video window into an ordered sequence under its current 90-second maximum. That is a VividStatus setting, not a claim about the limit on every WhatsApp account, device or release.
In one export, VividStatus can trim the source, frame it on a 9:16 canvas, and create the required parts. The result screen numbers the checklist rows; you open, review and confirm each part in WhatsApp separately.
How the split works
- Trim first — A filmstrip trimmer with draggable handles cuts the clip before splitting, so you never waste a part on footage you didn’t want.
- Ordered, numbered parts — The result checklist labels rows Part 1, Part 2 and so on in source order. Exported filenames in Photos are not promised to carry those numbers, and each row is handed off separately.
- Framed before splitting — Each part uses the same prepared 9:16 framing — Smart crop, blur fill, or your own custom crop. Review the WhatsApp composer because VividStatus cannot guarantee another app’s final display.
- One export, one outcome — An export is one job, however many parts it produces. A 2-minute video is four parts of one export, not four separate purchases of your patience.
Why the part length can vary
The selected length is a maximum, not a promise that every part will use all of it. VividStatus calculates how many parts are needed and divides the selected window evenly. For example, 75 seconds at a 30-second maximum becomes three 25-second parts.
The app currently prepares 9:16 H.264/AAC output and uses a bundled maximum of 90 seconds. It does not inspect your WhatsApp account or detect what a particular composer accepts; WhatsApp controls the result after handoff.

Do the parts play in the right order?
The VividStatus checklist keeps source order. Open and confirm each row separately, then inspect the live Status sequence because WhatsApp controls how entries are displayed.
Can I choose a different part length?
Yes. Pick 15 or 30 seconds, or choose a custom maximum up to VividStatus’s current 90-second limit. The app then divides the selected window evenly across the required number of parts.
Is there a watermark on the parts?
No. Exported parts carry no watermark on any plan.
